Role Objective:

To strategize, lead, and drive the nationwide used car loan business by developing strong sales

channels, improving portfolio quality, ensuring compliance, and achieving targeted business volumes through a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Strategy

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve disbursement and revenue targets.

  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and segments to expand the used car loan portfolio.

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to refine business strategy.

2. Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage zonal/regional sales teams across India.

  • Set clear performance targets for regional teams and review progress periodically.

  • Build a strong performance-driven sales culture through training, motivation, and leadership.

3. Channel Development & Relationship Management

  • Identify and onboard key channel partners including used car dealers, DSAs, and third-party

agents.

  • Strengthen relationships with existing partners to maximize business potential.

  • Conduct periodic partner evaluations to ensure productivity and compliance.

4. Portfolio Management & Quality Control

  • Ensure healthy portfolio quality by monitoring delinquency and credit hygiene.

  • Collaborate with credit and risk teams to maintain high-quality sourcing.

  • Take corrective measures to address portfolio issues.

5. Process, Policy & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory

requirements.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations.

  • Drive process improvement initiatives across regions.

6. Reporting & MIS

  • Present regular business performance reports to senior management.

  • Track key metrics such as disbursements, TAT, channel productivity, and portfolio health.

  • Provide insights and recommendations for strategic decisions.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Graduation required; MBA preferred.

  • 10–15+ years of experience in vehicle finance, preferably used car loans.

  • Proven track record in managing nationwide or multi-region sales team.
