Job Title: Safety Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a diligent Safety Engineer to develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and be responsible for minimizing risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and implement preventive measures.
  • Provide training and awareness programs on safety practices and emergency response.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Monitor environmental compliance and contribute to sustainability initiatives.
  • Maintain safety documentation and records accurately.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, regulations, and technology related to EHS.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
  • Preferable: Certification or coursework in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS).
  • Proven experience in safety management within industrial, construction, or engineering environments.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct training sessions and communicate safety protocols effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification such as NEBOSH, OSHA Safety Certification, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Experience with environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives.
  • Proficiency in safety auditing tools and software.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
