We are seeking a seasoned
Finance Head
to manage
end-to-end finance, statutory compliance, corporate governance, budgeting, MIS, and strategic financial planning
across a fast-growing
multi-entity domestic group
.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience in
India-focused financial operations
,
multi-entity accounting
,
financial controls
,
audit management
, and
statutory compliance under Indian laws
.

The role requires high accountability, strong leadership, and the ability to build scalable financial systems and frameworks that support rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group-Level Finance Leadership (India Entities)

• Lead complete accounting and financial operations across multiple
  Indian entities
  .
• Manage
  entity-wise books
  , month-end close, reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements as per
  Indian GAAP
  .
• Review
  intercompany transactions
  , eliminations, and documentation for domestic transactions.
• Ensure compliance with
  GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC
  , and other Indian regulatory frameworks.
• Maintain documentation for domestic vendor contracts, purchases, and transactions.

2. Revenue, Billing & Cash Flow Management

• Oversee
  client billing
  , invoice management, revenue recognition, and payment follow-ups.
• Monitor
  accounts receivable
  , debtor ageing, and coordinate collection activities.
• Handle vendor payments, payroll inputs, reimbursements, and operational disbursements.
• Manage
  cash-flow planning
  , fund allocation, vendor payment cycles, and expense controls.
• Execute banking operations, loan documentation, and treasury decisions for Indian entities.

3. FP&A, Budgeting & Strategic Planning

• Prepare global budgets, forecasts, burn-rate analysis, rolling projections and profitability reports.
• Support pricing models for overseas projects (hourly billing, blended rates, fixed price).
• Design financial models for new businesses, pricing strategies, and expansion initiatives.
• Perform profitability analysis, margin improvement, and cost optimization.
• Build detailed MIS dashboards, KPI's, variance reports, and investor-quality financial insights.

4. Legal, Statutory & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with
  Indian statutory requirements
  :
• GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, Income Tax
• ROC filings and Companies Act documentation
• Coordinate
  statutory, internal, tax, and GST audits
  with external auditors.
• Maintain compliance calendars, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Handle
  contracts, agreement drafting, agreements, board resolutions, minutes, and corporate filings
  .

5. ERP, Systems & Automation

• Lead implementation of
  Tally / Zoho / ERP systems
  and drive process automation.
• Strengthen internal controls, workflows, documentation, and audit trails.
• Automate accounting processes such as revenue recognition, inter-entity accounting, etc.

6. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead and mentor finance teams across accounting, AP/AR, payroll, and compliance.
• Work closely with HR, Recruitment, Delivery, and Operations for financial decision support.
• Serve as a key financial advisor to the Founders on scaling, risk management, and compliance.

Preferred

(All global / US / multi-currency experience moved here as requested)

• Exposure to
  multi-currency accounting
  , basic understanding of USD invoicing, or FX handling.
• Experience working with
  international entities
  or interacting with overseas clients.
• Familiarity with:
• US basics like
  1099, W9, W8BEN
  , and sales tax fundamentals
• Working with
  US CPAs
  for bookkeeping or compliance
• US or global payroll inputs
• Knowledge of
  FEMA basics
  , export documentation, or cross-border compliance.
• Experience in
  QuickBooks, NetSuite
  , or global ERP platforms.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of
  Indian GAAP
  , basic Ind AS, GST, TDS, ROC, and labor laws.
• Expertise in
  financial modeling, MIS, budgeting, and variance analysis
  .
• Strong command of
  Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP systems
  .
• Advanced MS Excel; good to have working knowledge of
  Tableau / Power BI
  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
