Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chartered Accountant (Internal Audit) located in Kolkata, Zambia. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for conducting internal audits, assessing financial operations, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, and identifying areas of improvement. The role will involve preparing audit reports, evaluating internal controls, and providing recommendations for enhancing operational efficiencies. The candidate will collaborate with various departments to understand and document business processes while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Internal Audit and Risk Management practices
  • Strong knowledge of Assurance and Compliance procedures
  • Experience in Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Excellent understanding of Taxation, Statutory Audit, and Regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA certification required
  • Experience in the audit or consulting industry is a plus
