We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 69 years of experience in automated testing using Selenium and Java, and strong hands-on experience in SQL/Database testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality delivery of our applications across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for UI, functional, regression, and integration testing
  • Perform database validation and SQL query execution for backend verification
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams in Agile environments
  • Conduct code reviews, test result analysis, and debugging of test scripts
  • Maintain and enhance the test automation framework using tools like Maven, TestNG, and Jenkins
  • Participate in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured (optional but a plus)

Required Skills

  • 69 years of total QA experience with a strong focus on automation
  • Expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, and performing database validations
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Maven, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills

Good to Have

  • Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured)
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, Docker
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) is a bonus
