Job Purpose
:

The Planning & Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and execution of interior fit-out commercial projects using Microsoft Project (MSP). The role requires expertise in project management, client coordination, vendor management, and ensuring timely delivery of projects within budget and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
:

Project Planning & Scheduling

Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using MSP.

Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.

Prepare resource allocation plans (manpower, material, subcontractors).

Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams to align project schedules.

Project Execution & Monitoring

Oversee day-to-day execution of multiple interior fit-out commercial projects.

Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement recovery measures.

Ensure projects are delivered within time, cost, and quality parameters.

Conduct regular project review meetings and prepare progress reports.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and vendors.

Present project progress, challenges, and solutions to clients.

Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.

Team & Vendor Management

Lead site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.

Manage vendor performance, contracts, and payment approvals.

Resolve site issues and ensure smooth coordination across teams.

Compliance & Quality Control

Ensure adherence to safety, statutory, and quality standards.

Review shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals.

Prepare and maintain documentation for audits, handovers, and project closure.

Key Skills & Competencies
:

Strong expertise in MS Project (MSP) for scheduling and tracking.

In-depth knowledge of interior fit-out processes for commercial spaces (offices, retail, hospitality, corporate).

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Strong financial acumen and understanding of project budgets.

Qualifications & Experience
:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design / Project Management (Master's degree preferred).

8–12 years of experience in project planning and management, with at least 5 years in interior fit-out commercial projects.

Proven expertise in MS Project (MSP) scheduling and monitoring.
