Making an impact. What will you do?

In this role you will maintain competent & motivated team for automation maintenance in the region and provide technical support for instrumentation and related equipment e.g. analyzer, transmitter, etc. and ensure development of plant level automation engineers and technicians.

Further, you will coordinate preparation and execution of overhauling of instruments equipment during turnarounds, emergency shutdowns and equipment breakdowns and extend support to condition monitoring program.

Additionally, you will be responsible for detailed job plans for major shutdown/ TAR (materials & Services, Budget etc), vendor selection for material supply & services and drive productivity initiatives.

Furthermore, you will make annual plans for OPEX & CAPEX, training for site automation engineers & technicians etc., review drawings & give recommendations for implementation for new projects as per statutory & LGSR standards.

Moreover, you are in charge for implementation of alerts / technical bulletins / directives & guidelines as per Coe recommendations and compliance to statutory requirements, coordinating the site activities on equipment during turnaround and supporting root cause failure analysis related to instrumentation failure of equipment

Ensuring that all preventive maintenance program for all automation equipment is complied with and conducting technical evaluation of rotating equipment vendors for minor and major projects is a part of your responsibility.

Likewise, you will extend support in sustaining QMS certification (ISO 9001,14001, OHSAS 1800) in carrying out the required action as per standard applicable area and implementing & maintaining LiMSS and Traccess to establish best operating practices by customizing group systems and standards.

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

You have a diploma/degree in Instrumentation Engineering with six to eight (6-8) years' experience in a similar role in Air Separation Unit (ASU) /chemical plant.
