Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Shift Timings: Rotational Shifts (7 AM – 3 PM / 3 PM – 11 PM / 11 PM – 7 AM)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the Equipment & Maintenance team in a leading EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) organization. The role involves hands-on experience with SMT equipment handling, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, ensuring smooth production and minimal downtime in a high-volume electronics manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot SMT machines such as ASM Pick & Place, ASM DEK Solder Printer, JT Reflow Oven, Axxon Mycronic Glue Dispenser, and Vitrox AXI Machine.
  • Perform calibration, feeder maintenance, and machine optimization.
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Minimize downtime by improving MTTR & MTTS metrics.
  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules and respond promptly to breakdowns.
  • Manage critical spare parts and feeder inventory.
  • Analyze downtime data and support Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives.

Experience Required:

  • 2 to 8 years in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting & analytical abilities.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to equipment care.
