Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer (VMC/HMC) is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, repair, and maintenance of the electrical systems within Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) and Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC). The role involves performing troubleshooting, electrical repairs, system diagnostics, and ensuring that all electrical components of machinery are operating at optimal levels for maximum production efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems in VMC and HMC machines, including motors, drives, controllers, transformers, and circuit breakers.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues related to CNC machinery, including VMC, HMC, power distribution systems, and automation equipment.
  • Control Panel and Wiring Inspection: Inspect and maintain electrical control panels, wiring, and electrical components to ensure they are operating correctly and safely. Perform upgrades as required.
  • Electrical Diagnostics: Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) to troubleshoot electrical problems in the machinery, including PLCs, servo motors, and CNC control systems.
