We are looking for a dynamic professional for IP & Innovation team and play a pivotal role in protecting cutting-edge innovations in the field of Oral Nicotine Products for Nicotine Replacement Therapy and Harm Reduction. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented Patent Analyst / IP Manager, responsible for supporting the development and protection of novel products and technologies.

Role & responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patentability, infringement, freedom-to-operate (FTO) and invalidity searches.
  • Perform in-depth patent landscape analysis to support R&D and business strategy.
  • Monitor competitive IP activities and emerging technologies.
  • Draft and review invention disclosures in collaboration with R&D teams.
  • Support patent filing strategies and coordinate with external patent attorneys, as required.
  • Maintain IP databases and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Provide IP-related insights to enable informed decision-making on innovation and product development.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors / Masters degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of prior experience in IP analysis, preferably in the pharmaceutical or nicotine product domain.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience working with patent databases (e.g., Orbit, PatBase, WIPO, Espacenet) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional R&D and business teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
