Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, conducting reconciliations, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Daily tasks include tracking and managing expenses, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, performing audits, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in financial record management, reconciliation, and preparation of financial reports
  • Experience with payroll processing and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus
