Role Overview

The
Catalogue Associate

is responsible for the quality, accuracy, and presentation of our product and image databases. This role connects vendor data, market pricing, and our digital catalogue, ensuring our systems are accurate for both internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

This role focuses on data mapping, quality control, and price validation across our core assets.

  1. Product & Price Management
  2. Work with Sourcing to map new vendor inventory to our internal Product SKU database.
  3. Maintain and update the master SKU database with current names, descriptions, and images.
  4. Research market data to verify product pricing, ensuring our system remains accurate and competitive.
  5. Image Catalogue & Data Integrity
  6. Connect pricing and product elements from client quotes and internal sourcing data to the central Decor Image Database.
  7. Update the Image Database pricing based on validated sourcing and market data.
  8. Digital Tagging & Quality Control
  9. Apply and approve tags for all images (e.g., event type, color, theme) to improve search and presentation.
  10. Verify that all images are correctly linked to their corresponding product SKUs and that pricing is accurate before publishing to the platform.
  11. Tag images to constituent SKUs. Review and correct tags generated by automated systems to ensure high search accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in catalogue management or Product Information Management (PIM).
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy.
  • Ability to conduct effective market research and price analysis.
  • A solid understanding of aesthetics and visual presentation in the decor/events space.
  • Proficient in database tools, PIM systems, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with Sourcing and Sales teams.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Data Management, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in a Catalogue, Merchandising, or Data Management role.
