Role Overview: As a Commis II in the kitchen team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth daily operations by handling mis-en-place, daily order preparation, and maintaining workflow under the guidance of senior culinary professionals. Your primary responsibilities include adhering to the hotel's mission statement, values, and rules, maintaining personal hygiene and attire, and efficiently completing mis-en-place tasks before each shift. In the absence of senior staff, you will be required to make decisions regarding specific work operations and ensure cleanliness according to established standards. Key Responsibilities: - Report to Executive Chef, Exec. Sous Chef, Exec. Pastry Chef, Sous Chef, Jr Sous Chef, and Chef De Partie - Adhere to the hotel's mission statement, values, and rules - Maintain proper personal hygiene and attire - Complete mis-en-place tasks efficiently before each shift - Make decisions regarding work operations in the absence of senior staff - Ensure cleanliness of work area and storage spaces according to standards - Coordinate effectively with co-workers for seamless workflow - Prepare daily guest orders and provide assistance in various kitchen functions as required Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in a similar role preferred - Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation - Ability to work well in a team environment - Good communication and organizational skills - Attention to detail and cleanliness - Willingness to learn and take direction from senior culinary professionals,
