Job Description: DevOps Engineer (Azure)

We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud, CI/CD automation, and containerized deployments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing DevOps pipelines, automating infrastructure with IaC tools, and supporting the development and deployment lifecycle of modern cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated build, test, and release processes.
  • Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and ARM templates.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Implement and manage Helm charts and YAML configurations for Kubernetes deployments.
  • Support application deployments and troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Write PowerShell scripts (and basic scripting in Bash or Python) to automate operational tasks.
  • Manage source control using Git, including branching strategies and code integrations.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate databases such as Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB with Azure services.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to application and infrastructure in Azure environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in Azure Cloud Services and good understanding of Azure architecture.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Helm.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting; familiarity with other scripting languages (Bash, Python).
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with database services such as Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, MongoDB.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team collaboration and communication abilities.
