This Position reports to:

Sales Director - Ahmedabad

Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for all developments carried out at region or shared with national team with successful completion of project, coordinate with customers for timeline, update progress of each activity with concern sales and reporting manager. Resolver issues and dissatisfaction at customer locations reported by manager or customer. Maintain safety for himself during site visits and report in case of any deviations or specific observations. Will not be responsible for direct sales but will support to inform new enquires and activities at various customers, suggestion of hardware for given applications. Responsible for bringing prototype machines into series as quick as possible. Escalation to concern in case of any irregularities.

This role is contributing to the in B&R Machine Automation business in Ahmedabad.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Responsible for application development and support for OEM machines, including new product/project development from specifications to FAT and SAT, incremental modifications, machine breakdown support, and adherence to coding standards.
• Accountable for maintaining active communication with the reporting manager, sales team, customers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and effective work closure.
• Support sales by conducting technical presentations and discussions to showcase the advantages of B&R solutions and contribute to the growth of indirect sales in the region.
• Responsible for following defined processes for reporting, issue escalation, customer meetings, and ensuring all documentation, reviews, and minutes of meetings are completed as required.
• Accountable for fostering teamwork, protecting B&R/customer IP, promoting organizational culture, and planning personal and team skill development aligned with business needs.

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Preferred 0-2 years of application development and support experience, ideally within the Indian business environment and multinational companies.
• Strong understanding of Industrial Automation systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, motion control, and robotic systems.
• Preferred knowledge of Industrial IoT market requirements.
• Ability to build effective networks in multicultural settings.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels professionally and with integrity.
• Fluency in English and Hindi (oral and written); additional local languages are a plus.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 60%.
