About the Role

We are looking for a
Salesforce Project Manager
to lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce initiatives from Chennai. This role blends
project management, client engagement, and Salesforce domain expertise
.

You'll work closely with customers, architects, and development teams to ensure projects are delivered
on time, within budget, and with high quality
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects (scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks).
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead project planning: requirements workshops, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release planning.
  • Prepare and manage
    project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and communication plans
    .
  • Coordinate with Salesforce architects, developers, admins, and QA to ensure smooth execution.
  • Manage change requests, impact analysis, and approvals.
  • Track project KPIs, manage risks/issues, and drive resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce and internal delivery best practices.
  • Support pre-sales with effort estimates, timelines, and high-level solution overviews when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years
    of total experience in IT / CRM projects, with
    3+ years
    managing Salesforce projects.
  • Strong understanding of
    Salesforce platform
    (Sales Cloud / Service Cloud / Experience Cloud, etc.) – configuration basics, capabilities, and limitations.
  • Proven experience managing
    end-to-end implementations
    or major enhancements on Salesforce.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Agile/Scrum
    : sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, velocity tracking.
  • Experience working with
    distributed/global teams
    (onsite–offshore).
  • Strong skills in creating and managing:
  • Project plans & schedules
  • RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
  • Status reports and stakeholder communication
  • Excellent communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Salesforce certifications such as
    Salesforce Administrator, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant
    are a plus.

Nice to Have

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM
    (Scrum Master) certification.
  • Experience with
    Manufacturing, Healthcare, SaaS, or Technology services
    domains.
  • Familiarity with
    Jira / Azure DevOps /
    or similar project tracking tools.
  • Experience in multi-vendor environments and complex integration projects.
