As a member of our Product Marketing group, you'll represent the customer throughout a product's journey from concept through development and launch. You'll develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our product-development process. Together with our team, you'll work to craft groundbreaking ideas into tangible products that excite the world. At Apple, we combine product management/development and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross functional Product Management role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales and support for maximum impact across the organization. We are currently seeking an iPhone Product Marketing Manager for India. This individual will be part of a team of product experts who champion Apple's products in their respective markets, ensuring they remain central to the customer conversation. In this role, you will partner with the Senior iPhone Product Marketing Manager in India to lead and drive the marketing strategy for iPhone. You'll be responsible for developing strategic, integrated marketing plans that place Apple's products, services, and values at the heart of culture. A key function of this role is to serve as the local spokesperson for iPhone in India.

Description

Articulate the product opportunity in market and provide product insight and leadership from introduction through end-of-life to both the Marketing and Sales organisations. Execute product launches with excellence every time Contribute to the annual India Marketing plan, outlining opportunity and actions that lead growth and category leadership Be the liaison between India and worldwide for all local business needs and feature requirements related to these product lines of business. Influence the product feature roadmap, making clear recommendations that improve customer experience Become a visible and vocal member of the Product Marketing team Be the guardian of product messaging and positioning across every customer touch point, advancing the cause of excellence Possess expert knowledge of competitive and 3rd party products and strategies. Make pricing and forecasting recommendations to management and cross-functional teams Build a sphere of influence across multiple internal functions / divisions

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, consumer electronics, or creative technology roles
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

  • Ability to surprise and delight our customers' experiences through innovative, thoughtful details.
  • Uses knowledge of business drivers, how strategies and tactics play out in the market, to guide actions.
  • Strong understanding of business drivers and market dynamics.
  • Collaborative mindset with a track record of building partnerships to meet shared goals.
  • Bachelor's degree (BE/BS/BA) or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Instinctive ability to be the voice of the customer.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
  • Superior storytelling and presentation capabilities.
  • Comfort handling large volumes of information and distilling it into actionable insights.
  • High integrity, with experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
    Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
