Business Analyst- Pricing Optimization

Avantor is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced analyst specializing in analyzing data and creating reports based on the findings.

We are looking for a results-driven Business Analyst with strong data analysis capabilities to join our Pricing Optimization team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience working with data, reporting, and analytics tools. This role requires proficiency in Python, Power BI ,SQL  and  Excel with a solid grasp of data handling and visualization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.

What were looking for 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in data analysis or business analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy), SQL, and Excel.
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Solid understanding of data quality and governance principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

How you will thrive and create an impact 

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and automation.
• Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems
• Developing and maintaining databases, data systems - reorganizing data in a readable format
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, Power Query, data cleaning, and charting for reporting and analysis.
• Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Clean, validate, and organize raw data for analysis and reporting.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reports.
• Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
