Inspired by the vision of former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, ALERT has successfully trained over 75,000 people across diverse backgrounds, with curriculum developed in collaboration with the Indian Medical Association (IMA). The organization works closely with various stakeholders, including legal, judicial, EMS, and government entities, to drive policies and create synergies in emergency care. ALERT's innovative initiatives, such as India's first simulation lab for life-saving skills, have earned multiple awards, including the 'Hero of the Year' and 'Good Samaritan' recognitions.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Outreach Executive located in Chennai. The Social Outreach Executive will be responsible for coordinating and executing campaigns, engaging with communities, and creating awareness about ALERT's mission and programs. Responsibilities include organizing events, managing partnerships with sponsors and stakeholders, contributing to training sessions, and promoting ALERT's emergency response initiatives. The role will involve traveling within Chennai and neighboring areas to establish and strengthen community relationships.

Qualifications

  • Community Engagement and Outreach: Excellent communication skills, event coordination experience, and community relationship management expertise.
  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Strong skills in crafting and running awareness campaigns with creativity and initiative.
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders like corporate sponsors, NGOs, and local authorities.
  • Basic Administrative Skills: Proficiency in organizing, planning, and scheduling for successful execution of programs.
  • Additional Desirable Qualifications: Familiarity with emergency response training, experience in the social sector, or knowledge of Tamil language.
