Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation

  • Establish, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System as per applicable standards (ISO / IATF / customer-specific requirements).
  • Ensure effective deployment of quality policies, procedures, and SOPs across all departments.
  • Lead gap analysis and implement corrective actions for system improvements.

2. Internal & External Audits

  • Plan, organize, and lead internal audits as per audit calendar.
  • Coordinate external audits (certification body, customer audits, surveillance audits).
  • Ensure timely closure of audit findings through CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).

3. Documentation & Process Control

  • Maintain and control all QMS documents, manuals, procedures, and records.
  • Review and approve updates to SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation.
  • Ensure version control and compliance with documentation standards.

4. Quality Improvement & Compliance

  • Monitor key quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement root cause analysis (RCA), problem-solving tools (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA).
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams for process improvements.

5. Training & Awareness

  • Conduct QMS awareness sessions and training for employees.
  • Build quality culture across the organization through regular communication and workshops.

6. Supplier & Customer Management

  • Support supplier qualification, audits, and evaluation.
  • Address customer complaints and ensure effective resolution through CAPA.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships on quality matters.

7. Management Review

  • Prepare data and reports for Management Review Meetings (MRM).
  • Track performance metrics and highlight risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
