Backend Engineer (Python, AI, AWS) – 3+ Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Python (FastAPI/ Flask), AWS cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML integration. You will design scalable APIs, manage cloud-native deployments, and work with AI/LLM frameworks to power modern applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable APIs with Python (FastAPI / Flask); optional exposure to
  • Deploy, manage, and automate AWS services (Lambda, ECS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, Cognito, S3, ECR, IAM, Bedrock, KMS).
  • Write Terraform scripts for Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions; Jenkins familiarity).
  • Containerize and deploy with Docker.
  • Work with databases: DynamoDB, Postgres, MySQL; object storage on S3.
  • Implement auth flows with Cognito and Google OAuth; integrate Google APIs (auth, calendar).
  • Support AI/ML workflows: model training (Transformers, Random Forest, K-Means), deployment on GPU instances, integration of open-source models.
  • Develop LLM agents using LangChain/LangGraph, MCP tools, function calling, streaming, guardrails.
  • Build RAG pipelines (Pinecone vector stores; optional Graph RAG with AWS Neptune/Neo4j).
  • Leverage AWS Bedrock for generative AI solutions.
  • Collaborate via Git/GitHub (branching, PR reviews, conflict resolution).

Qualifications

  • 3+ years backend engineering experience.
  • Strong in Python (FastAPI / Flask), AWS cloud, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Database expertise (SQL + NoSQL).
  • Solid foundation in data structures & algorithms.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML workflows, LLM frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph), and RAG pipelines in production environments.
  • Nice to have: (microservices), Graph RAG (Neo4j/AWS Neptune), React/TypeScript.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600, ₹1,200,000.00 per year
