Senior Programme Officer / Programme Officer

About the Role:

You will lead and support projects on
water conservation and ecosystem restoration
, working closely with NGO partners, communities, and stakeholders to drive impactful environmental initiatives across India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, monitor, and implement water conservation projects under Harit.
  • Conduct field surveys, water testing, and baseline assessments.
  • Liaise with government and stakeholders for collaborative interventions.
  • Prepare reports, organize conferences, and develop awareness campaigns.
  • Frequent field visits and Pan-India travel for project monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in
    Environment Management / Environmental Science / Water Management
    or related field (minimum 60% across academics).
  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in water conservation projects (NGO/CSR preferred).
  • Strong networking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English and local language.
