Position OverviewWe are seeking an accomplished Director – Human Resources to lead our people strategy and drive organizational transformation across geographies. This role demands a seasoned HR leader with strong IR experience and industry knowledge to manage complex HR ecosystems across corporate, manufacturing, and R&D setups. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic advisor to leadership, align HR initiatives with business goals, and ensure legal and cultural excellence.

Job SummaryThe Director – Human Resources will plan, lead, develop, and coordinate all HR policies, talent strategies, and industrial relations. This role will oversee corporate HR functions, manufacturing units, and R&D centers, ensuring compliance and alignment with Cristol's mission. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute HR strategies aligned with business growth and operational excellence

Lead corporate HR, plant HR, and R&D HR functions

Drive organizational change, employee engagement, and cultural transformation

Ensure compliance with labor laws and safety regulations

Oversee performance management, C&B, succession planning, and talent development

Lead talent acquisition and deployment across technical and leadership roles

Partner with senior leadership to align HR with strategic goals

Manage unionized workforce relations, including settlements and labor agreements

Visit company sites, engage with plant leadership, and resolve team issues proactively

Take full ownership of independent hiring for key strategic roles Mandatory Qualifications22 years of progressive experience in HR/IR, with at least 10 years in leadership roles

Proven success in Chemicals, Oil & Gas, or similar heavy industries

Experience in managing industrial relations, settlements, and labor negotiations

Demonstrated career stability: - No more than 3 employers in 22 years - No career gaps exceeding 3 months - No freelance or contractual employment Open to travel as requiredSHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.Master's degree in HR or a related field (preferred) Required Skills & CompetenciesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making capabilities

Deep understanding of employment laws and IR frameworks

Ability to drive strategic HR initiatives across diverse environments

Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems
