Job Purpose

The electrical engineer at Greenbeam is vital to setting up solar power projects.

Working under the solar side in charge, the engineer is responsible for all electrical aspects of the project, including cable laying, interconnection with inverters, and switchyard work. Relevant experience in dealing with eleven KVA transmission lines and equipment, such as VCB panels, HT, LT panels, and transformers, is crucial for success in this role.

Job Duties

  • Managing all electrical aspects of solar power projects during the setup phase.
  • Overseeing cable laying, interconnection with inverters, and switchyard work.
  • Utilising expertise in eleven KVA transmission lines and relevant equipment (VCB panels, HT, LT panels, transformers, etc.).
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborating with project teams to optimise electrical system performance.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, particularly in solar power projects.

Knowledge

  • Proficiency in working with eleven KVA transmission lines.
  • Familiarity with VCB panels, HT, LT panels, transformers, and related equipment.
