Roles & Responsibility

  • Monitor and operate electrical equipment such as switchgear (LT), VCBs/ACBs, MCCs, PLCs, UPS systems, and distribution panels.
  • Conduct PM for MCCs, switchgear, motors, UPS, batteries, earthing systems, etc.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, control circuit issues, motor faults, relay trips, cable faults, and system breakdowns.
  • Repair/replace defective components and restore system operation with minimum downtime.
  • Implement Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures during maintenance.
  • Ensure proper integration of new electrical equipment into existing systems.
  • Attend breakdowns, faults, power failures, and safety incidents.
  • Monitor PLC/SCADA systems, drives (VFD), and process instrumentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in electrical & instrument maintenance, installation and troubleshooting.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and practices.
  • Proficient to understand panel drawings and process P&ID.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • Familiarity with
    Wastewater treatment systems
    or equivalent industry experience is a plus.
