Job Summary:

Advaya is seeking a dynamic and experienced Solutions Architect to lead our engineering team. As an Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development and maintenance of robust backend systems to support our fleet management solutions. If you have a proven track record of backend development, leadership skills, and are passionate about driving innovation and excellence, we invite you to join us in shaping the future of fleet management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of backend developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems using Python, Django, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities.
  • Drive the implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure the quality, scalability, and maintainability of backend code.
  • Manage the deployment and operation of backend systems on cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
  • Implement DevOps practices for continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and infrastructure automation.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal system reliability and uptime.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on architectural decisions and technology choices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10-15 years of experience in backend development with expertise in Python, Django, and other relevant technologies.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams, with a focus on driving results and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS, including deployment and operation of backend systems.
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
