Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Contracts, based in Mumbai. The Head of Contracts will oversee managing the entire lifecycle of contracts, from creation to execution, while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include negotiating terms with clients and vendors, streamlining procurement processes, analyzing contracts for risks and opportunities, and leading a team to ensure consistent support in contract administration. The role will also contribute to establishing best practices for contract management and maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Contract Management and Contract Negotiation, including drafting, reviewing, and monitoring contract terms.
  • Strong Analytical Skills for risk assessment and identifying opportunities to drive better outcomes in contracts.
  • Experience in Procurement and developing efficient procurement processes.
  • Team Management skills, including the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team to achieve goals effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Knowledge of logistics or similar industries is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required; advanced degrees or certifications in contract law or management are a plus.
