Role Description

Plan, organize, lead and coordinate new supplier/material development projects

  1. Execute components certification with actual or new suppliers

  2. Coordinate cross-functional teams working on assigned tasks to identify corrective

actions and implement them within the respective area.

  1. Identify improvements in workflows, processes, methods and tools used in project

management and supplier excellence management with the aim of continuously

increasing competencies and efficiency in the Purchasing Department and within

Nidec.

  1. Identify and implement cost reduction projects

  2. Propose and manage productivity projects with suppliers in order to reduce material

cost

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster mutual growth

and long-term partnership

  1. Maintain accurate records of supplier evaluations, development activities, and

performance metrics, prepare reports for management review

  1. Ensure suppliers adhere to company policies, industry standards and regulatory

requirements

Qualifications

University degree in Supply chain Management Business administration , Engineering or

related field.

● Proven experience in Procurement, supplier development or supply chain management

● strong Analytical skills and problem solving capabilities

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
