Position Overview

We're looking for a Business Analyst / Functional Consultant – IT Projects who will act as a key link between clients, support teams, project managers, and software developers.

The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding client requirements, documenting them functionally, coordinating across teams, and ensuring timely closure of CRs, NRs, and bugs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary communication bridge between clients and the internal IMAST teams (Support, IT, and Project Management).
  • Gather, document, and analyze client requirements, change requests, and new developments.
  • Prepare detailed Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Change Request (CR) notes, and UAT sign-offs.
  • Assist Project Managers in creating and managing sprints in Jira, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to timelines.
  • Follow up on tickets, bugs, and enhancements raised by clients, ensuring proper prioritization and closure.
  • Conduct requirement clarification calls with clients and ensure proper documentation and sign-off.
  • Coordinate with Team Leads and Developers for task allocation and clarification of requirements.
  • Assist in new deployment documentation, release notes, and training materials.
  • Participate in internal meetings to translate business objectives into clear technical action points.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile / Jira workflows.
  • Experience in writing requirement documents, wireframes, and user stories.
  • Exposure to web or SaaS-based applications (knowledge of PHP, Laravel, , or MongoDB is an advantage).
  • Good analytical thinking and ability to break down complex requirements.
  • Familiarity with CR, NR, and bug tracking processes.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or Business Administration.
  • 2–6 years of experience in similar roles (Business Analyst / Functional Consultant / Project Coordinator).
