Job Title: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to join our dynamic digital marketing team at Gururo. As an SEO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving organic traffic, increasing search engine rankings, and enhancing our online presence across various search engines. This is a full-time, remote work-from-home position, allowing you to work flexibly from the comfort of your own space.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords that align with our business goals.
2. Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, visibility, and search engine rankings.
3. Conduct on-page optimization, including optimizing meta tags, headings, content, and internal linking structures to improve search engine crawlability and indexation.
4. Optimize website performance for speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience to enhance overall search visibility.
5. Identify and address technical SEO issues, such as broken links, crawl errors, and duplicate content.
6. Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into the content creation process.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices to continuously improve SEO strategies.
8. Monitor and analyze website analytics, search console data, and other relevant SEO tools to measure the effectiveness of SEO efforts and make data-driven decisions.
9. Generate regular SEO performance reports and provide insights and recommendations to improve performance and achieve KPIs.
10. Assist in identifying and pursuing link-building opportunities to improve domain authority and increase backlinks from reputable sources.
11. Stay informed about competitor SEO strategies and recommend action plans to maintain a competitive edge.
12. Collaborate with other digital marketing team members on cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a track record of successful SEO campaigns and improved search rankings.
2. In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
3. Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
4. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture as they relate to SEO.
5. Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and website platforms.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
8. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
9. Creative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and improve SEO performance.
10. A proactive approach to staying updated with industry trends and changes in search engine algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Experience in e-commerce SEO and familiarity with marketplace platforms 
3. Knowledge of international SEO and optimizing websites for global audiences.
