Service Reliability Engineer 3Summary of the Role

Join Amadeus as a Service Reliability Engineer and help design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable platforms that power the travel industry. You'll work with cloud-native technologies, automation, and monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance for critical systems.

In This Role You'll

  • Design and implement platform solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and modern architecture principles.

  • Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to align platform capabilities with application needs.

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage container orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes).

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security protocols to ensure compliance.

  • Document platform architecture and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability.

About the Ideal Candidate

  • 6-9 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.

  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.

  • Hands-on experience with Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and GCP services.

  • Familiarity with security frameworks, FinOps principles, and monitoring tools like DataDog.

  • Bonus: Certifications in GCP, Kubernetes, or security domains and experience in travel or airline technology.
