Role Overview
The
Business Development Manager (BDM)
will be responsible for
driving business growth, managing key accounts, and achieving revenue targets
in Ahmedabad and surrounding regions. The role demands a
strategic mindset, consultative sales skills, and proven experience in solution-based selling
within the IT, AV, and ELV domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement
business development strategies
to expand Allot Group's presence in Ahmedabad and nearby regions. - Identify and pursue
new business opportunities
across multiple industry verticals. - Build and maintain strong relationships with
CXOs, procurement heads, consultants, and key stakeholders
. - Manage the
entire sales cycle
– lead generation, proposal, negotiation, closure, and handover to delivery teams. - Work with
technical and pre-sales teams
to create proposals and solution presentations. - Achieve or exceed
monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
. - Represent Allot Group at
industry events, client meetings, and networking forums
. - Provide
market insights and competitor intelligence
to support strategy.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Achievement of
quarterly revenue targets
. - Number of
new accounts acquired per quarter
. - Growth in
existing account revenues
. - Conversion rate
of proposals to successful deals. - Client satisfaction & retention
metrics. - Contribution towards
team development and mentoring of junior executives

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
- 5–8 years of
proven experience in B2B sales / business development
, preferably in
IT, AV, ELV, or system integration solutions
. - Strong
networking and relationship-building skills
in Ahmedabad/Gujarat market. - Excellent
presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
. - Ability to work independently and deliver results under pressure.
- Willingness to
travel within Gujarat
as per business needs.
