Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Welcome & Seating: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, provide accurate wait times, and escort them to their assigned tables.
  • Reservation Management: Take, confirm, and manage reservations, along with maintaining the wait list during busy periods.
  • Communication & Coordination: Act as a central point of communication, keeping servers and kitchen staff informed about guest needs and seating availability.
  • Front-of-House Maintenance: Ensure the reception area and dining room are clean, tidy, and organized.
  • Guest Assistance: Answer guest questions, handle complaints professionally, and address any special requests or needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service from the moment a guest arrives until their departure.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal skills for communicating with both guests and staff.
  • Organization: Skillful management of reservations, wait lists, and table assignments.

Typical Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is often preferred but not always required.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a restaurant setting is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with restaurant etiquette and health and safety regulations is helpful.

Must Required Marathi speaking, Reading and understanding.
