Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and skilled Freelance Product Videographer to produce engaging video content that showcases our products in the best possible light. The ideal candidate will be experienced in conceptualizing, filming, and editing high-quality product videos that align with brand guidelines and marketing goals.

You will collaborate closely with clients or internal teams to understand project objectives, manage all aspects of video production, and deliver visually compelling final outputs that drive engagement and sales.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production

  • Collaborate with clients or creative teams to understand project goals, target audiences, and desired messaging.
  • Develop video concepts, scripts, and storyboards to outline visual direction.
  • Plan shoot logistics including locations, props, equipment, and schedules.

Production

  • Set up and operate video, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Capture high-quality, visually engaging product footage.
  • Ensure proper framing, lighting, and sound to meet professional standards.

Post-Production

  • Edit raw footage into polished final videos, including color grading, motion graphics, sound design, and visual effects.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and finalize content.
  • Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms (e.g., website, social media, ads).

Collaboration & Management

  • Communicate effectively with clients and teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables independently.
  • Maintain and organize video equipment and media files.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, preferably with product or commercial video projects.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical capabilities.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Expertise in operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition).

Creative Skills:

  • Strong sense of visual storytelling, composition, and brand consistency.
  • Ability to conceptualize ideas and translate them into engaging visuals.

Organizational Skills:

  • Excellent time management and communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Media, or a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience).

Other Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical stamina for on-set production work.
  • Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration and file transfers.
