We are looking for an experienced QA Manual Engineer with strong knowledge of BDD and REST API testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software delivery through systematic manual testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements, design, and execute detailed manual test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for web and API applications.
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track defects.
  • Implement BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) practices using tools such as Cucumber or JBehave.
  • Participate in test planning, review sessions, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Work closely with automation teams for test coverage alignment.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in manual testing of web and API-based applications.
  • Good understanding of BDD frameworks (Cucumber / JBehave).
  • Hands-on experience with REST API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
  • Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

  • Basic understanding of test automation and SQL queries.
  • Exposure to JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools for defect tracking and documentation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD environments.

Education:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
