Job Description:

At IndusInd Bank, we are looking for an Automation QA / SDET Engineer to work with our digital strategy and analytics team, which builds & maintains the digital banking products across web & mobile to deliver the best banking experience to customers.

About the Role:

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, understand requirements and translate them into the team's technical requirements, create test cases, execute, and automate.
  • Lead the QA/ SDET team in its daily manual & automation tasks, prioritize them, set QA workflows for web/mobile API testing, conduct reviews, and make decisions based on business priorities.
  • Run functional & technical tests for new business requirements, identify bugs & issues, troubleshoot/ diagnose, identify opportunities for automation across UAT, CUG, and Production environments, build automation framework, document test cases & scenarios and write automation scripts, integrate test into CI/CD pipeline, ensure continuous improvement in quality and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Testing.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Ruby, Python).
  • Experience in web & mobile application testing, SQL/NoSQL databases, continuous integration processes, kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools.
  • Prior experience in implementing automation project using Test Sigma is a plus.
  • Track record of designing, developing and supporting automation solutions.
  • Be able to maintain high-performance within a fast-paced work environment.
  • Have excellent oral, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
