Job Description:

Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and application owners to design technical solutions for applications targeted for simplification or off-host migration.

 Analyze existing host-based application architectures to define modernization pathways, including rehosting, refactoring, or replacement with off-host platforms.

 Design end-to-end technical blueprints for target state architecture using off-host technologies such as Java/.NET, microservices, APIs, cloud-native services, and open-source tools.

 Define integration patterns, data flows, and security models for migrated applications in hybrid or cloud environments.

 Work with infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams to align technical designs with organizational standards and deployment strategies.

 Ensure designs support non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

 Provide technical guidance to development teams during implementation and help resolve design-related issues.

 Maintain technical design documents, interface specifications, and architecture diagrams as part of program documentation.

 Contribute to application classification using frameworks such as TIME or 6R to define appropriate modernization approaches.
