Responsibilities :
- Conduct workshops and meetings with business users to gather and analyze quality management requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Configure and customize SAP QM modules to meet business needs, including master data setup, inspection planning, quality notifications, and quality certificates.
- Develop and maintain QM master data, including inspection plans, material specifications, and vendor evaluations.
- Participate in full lifecycle SAP QM implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality and data integrity.
- Create test scripts and execute test cases.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP QM with other SAP modules, such as MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), and SD (Sales and Distribution).
- Troubleshoot integration issues.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP QM systems, including troubleshooting issues and resolving user queries.
- Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.
- Provide end user training.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements within the SAP QM module.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP QM functionalities and best practices.
- Create and maintain detailed functional and technical documentation.
Required Skills and Experience :
- 5 to 7 years of experience as an SAP QM Functional Consultant.
- Strong understanding of SAP QM module functionalities and business processes.
- Hands-on experience in SAP QM configuration, customization, and implementation.
- Experience in integrating SAP QM with other SAP modules (MM, PP, SD).
- Proficiency in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work1 independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Quality Notifications, Inspection Planning, and Quality Certificates.
- Experience with batch management in QM is a plus.
- Experience with Industry specific QM requirements is a plus.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SAP QM certification is a plus.
