Primary Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Prepare and operate CNC machines Vertical & Horizontal lathe Machine to perform tasks such as Turning, threading drilling, grinding, milling etc.
  • Understand specifications of the task at hand and Inspect and Adjust working for desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
  • Record all measured dimension in inspection report.
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
  • Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
  • Inspect parts during manufacturing and maintain consistent quality.
  • Check the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
  • Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly in compliance with quality requirements.
  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
  • Make Fixtures and clamps when required.
  • Write CNC Programme for VTL & Horizontal Lathe Machine
  • Perform secondary ops (tap, deburr, etc.) Only jobs being on machines.
  • Select appropriate tools for Machining jobs.
  • Ensure 5S Implementation through Machine shop.
  • Record and maintain Shift Log sheet.
  • Ensure Measuring instruments calibration record in VTL/Horizontal machine.
  • Prepare CNC programme in Macro format and canned cycles.

Education & Experience Qualifications

  • ITI/NCTVT with 5 years / DME with 2 years' experience.
  • Work experience in CNC Turning operating and programming
  • Must be proficient with Fanuc and siemens CNC programming
  • Strong knowledge of all measuring instruments and GD&T
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • Knowledge of Tooling preferred.
