Key Responsibilities

Branding & Communication

· Assist in developing and executing communication materials for FITT's innovation, incubation, and research initiatives.

· Draft social media content, newsletters, event updates, and success stories.

· Support the design of marketing collaterals, infographics, and presentation decks.

· Help maintain consistent messaging and visual identity across platforms.

Market & Company Research

· Conduct secondary research on innovation trends, startup ecosystems, and corporate technology interests.

· Identify potential industry partners, investors, and collaborators aligned with IIT Delhi's research strengths.

· Benchmark FITT's communication and outreach practices against leading innovation centers globally.

· Prepare research briefs, data dashboards, and summary reports for internal use.

Digital Marketing & Outreach

· Support the management of FITT's website and social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube).

· Assist in planning and executing online campaigns and email newsletters.

· Track analytics, engagement metrics, and audience feedback to improve outreach strategies.

· Suggest creative ideas for digital engagement and community building.

Events & Campaign Support

· Coordinate communication and branding activities for FITT events such as FITT Forward, demo days, hackathons, and policy dialogues.

· Support in event planning, on-site execution, and post-event communication.

· Contribute to photography, videography, and short write-ups for FITT's media channels.

Learning Opportunities

During this internship, the intern will:

· Gain hands-on exposure to India's leading research and innovation ecosystem at IIT Delhi.

· Learn how marketing and branding intersect with research commercialization and startup incubation.

· Develop skills in digital marketing, stakeholder communication, market analysis, and visual storytelling.

· Network with innovators, startups, researchers, and industry leaders.

Qualifications & Skills

· Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Management, Communication, Journalism, Economics, or related field.

· Strong interest in innovation, technology, and startups.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required).

· Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools (LinkedIn, Canva, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, etc.) preferred.

· Analytical mindset and ability to present data-driven insights.
