Senior Specialist, Data and AI Strategy

About the Role:

We are seeking a technically skilled, data-driven, and solution-oriented Senior Specialist – Data & AI Strategy to join our Certifications team. In this role, you will play a key role in transforming business and exam data into actionable insights by leveraging advanced analytics, scalable reporting solutions, automation, and AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with an understanding of assessment and business data, ensuring insights are actionable and delivered with accuracy and timeliness. This role blends analytics, automaton and intelligent, AI-powered solutions to support the strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain candidate scorecards, exam dashboards, and performance analytics to support certification programs.

• Analyze exam data to generate diagnostic reports, item-level insights, and trend summaries

• Partner with psychometricians on item analysis, standard setting, and performance evaluation.

• Leverage AI-powered tools to automate content generation, enhance insight delivery, and streamline analytics and reporting workflows.

• Translate complex assessment and business data into clear, stakeholder-friendly visuals and narratives through interactive dashboards and reports.

• Apply business analytics to identify trends, evaluate program performance, and support strategic decision-making across certification operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements, improve data pipelines, and implement scalable reporting solutions.

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all data outputs while complying with internal data governance, privacy, and exam security standards.

• Drive operational improvements by automating data workflows, documenting processes, and continuously improving reporting systems for usability and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field required; a postgraduate degree is preferred.

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in analytics, reporting, or data analysis.

• Prior experience working with exams or education technology platforms preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

• Familiarity with psychometric or statistical software/tools (e.g., R, SPSS, Python) and is a plus.

• Expert using AI/ML tools and platforms for applied use cases.

• Experience with exam administration systems and results management tools.

• Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and user-friendly manner.
