Role and Responsibilities:
As a QA Engineer (Automation) at Alpha Consultants, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing and implementing Test Automation frameworks, ensuring efficient and effective testing processes.
  • Utilizing Selenium and Java to create and execute automated test scripts.
  • Conducting REST API testing using JSON/XML.
  • Identifying areas and test cases suitable for Automation and developing automation scripts accordingly.
  • Working with API automated testing frameworks and utilizing Data Driven and Hybrid Frameworks.
  • Creating and enhancing Test Scripts using Element locators, WebDriver methods, Java programming concepts, and TestNG Annotations.
  • Utilizing TestNG Framework for grouping test cases, prioritizing test cases, executing test batches, and generating test results.
  • Finding solutions for Object Identification issues and error handling issues.
  • Creating and maintaining Selenium Test Environment through Maven Integration.
  • Implementing Continuous Integration/Development using Jenkins.
  • Performing parallel test execution with Selenium Grid.
  • Conducting Regression Testing and handling changes efficiently.
  • Interacting with clients to solve problems and provide updates on the project status.
  • Staying updated with new technologies and emerging engineering practices.
Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience in Test Automation framework, design, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in Selenium and Java.
  • Experience in REST API testing using JSON/XML.
  • Familiarity with API automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong experience in Data Driven and Hybrid Frameworks.
  • Experience in developing Selenium automation framework from scratch.
  • Proficiency in Page Object Model (POM).
  • Ability to create reusable components and enhance Test Scripts using Element locators, WebDriver methods, Java programming concepts, and TestNG Annotations.
  • Experience with TestNG Framework for grouping test cases, prioritizing test cases, executing test batches, and generating test results.
  • Ability to troubleshoot object identification issues and error handling issues.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining Selenium Test Environment through Maven Integration.
  • Experience in Continuous Integration/Development using Jenkins.
  • Ability to perform parallel test execution with Selenium Grid.
  • Expertise in conducting Regression Testing and efficiently handling changes.
  • Experience in interacting with clients and providing updates on project status.
  • A keen interest in new technology and emerging engineering practices.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
