Role Description

As a Tally Support Executive, you will be responsible for delivering functional and technical support for Tally and allied products to Soft-Tech's clients. The role requires understanding client queries, troubleshooting Tally issues, handling installations/upgrades, and conducting user training. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customer support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of Tally solutions for clients.

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, IT, or related field.

Good to Have:

  • Certification in Tally software.
  • Diploma/Certification in ERP support or IT systems.

Experience

Must Have:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Tally support / ERP support / IT helpdesk.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally Prime (installation, troubleshooting, data migration, user support).

Good to Have:

  • Experience in handling Tally customization requirements.
  • Exposure to TDL (Tally Definition Language).
  • Experience in training end-users.

Key Skills

Must Have:

  • Strong knowledge of Tally Prime (functional & basic technical aspects).
  • Understanding of accounting principles & GST compliance.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage client queries via phone, email, and onsite visits.
  • Fair knowledge of accounting concepts, including:
  • Trial Balance / Balance Sheet / Profit & Loss
  • GST, TDS, TCS compliance
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • MSME Regulations

Good to Have:

  • Familiarity with TDL scripting/customization.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases & data backup/restoration.
  • Experience in ERP support for SMEs/MSMEs.
  • Understanding of business scenarios in Trading, Manufacturing, Export/Import, Local, and Forex transactions.
  • Knowledge of Connected Solutions in Tally Prime 6.x.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional & technical support for Tally Prime users.
  • Handle installation, activation, licensing, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Address GST, accounting, and compliance-related queries in Tally.
  • Conduct client training sessions and webinars for Tally users.
  • Ensure timely response & resolution of customer tickets.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of support cases and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with Tally development/customization teams when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹35,000.00 per month
