Overview:

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Project cum Proposal Engineer to join our team. This role will primarily focus on supporting the proposal development process while also providing technical expertise during project execution. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare proposals, project plans, and technical documentation, ensuring that our projects are well-defined, cost-effective, and meet the highest engineering standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Proposal Development

· Should have worked on large size proposals for municipal clients/WTP/STP /ETP/RO.

· Work closely with sales and service teams to understand client needs and project requirements.

· Prepare and compile technical proposals and bid documents in response to client RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFQs (Request for Quotations).

· Conduct technical evaluations, cost estimations, and risk assessments for proposed projects.

· Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and compelling technical content in proposals.

• Monitors current competitive prices, new techniques and cost trends.
• To attend the technical meeting with clients during the tendering process.
• Able to plan, prepare, coordinate and to consolidate all estimating activities.
• Ability to interpret engineering documentations such as drawings, specifications, scope of works, etc.
• Ability to plan, to set goals and pro-actively follow-up to achieve targets and objectives
• Prepare handover report for the award project and follow through Post Order Correspondence
• Follows all relevant Tendering / Proposals polices & procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Familiar and maintain awareness of company's current requirements and where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations.

· Design of waste water treatment plants.

2. Project Engineering

· Act as a technical liaison between project managers and engineering teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.

· Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.

· Monitor project progress and address any technical issues or deviations from the plan.

· Provide technical guidance and support to project teams as needed.

· Responsible for the preparation and submission of techno-commercial

· Proposals and tenders for various Turnkey projects (STP,WTP,UF,RO).

· Preparation of STP, WTP, ETP, RO, DM plant proposal.

· Design of Sewage treatment plants with MBBR, MBR, SBR, technologies.

· Responsible for Design, Procurement, Supply,

· Installation and Commissioning of various Turnkey projects in water and waste water treatment.

· Other Responsibilities include cost estimation, vendor analysis and selection, feasibility, study, resource allocation etc...

· Selection of rotating equipment s like pumps, Blowers, Agitators, Compressors etc

· Preparation of BOQ.

· Check the G.A. Drawings of all equipment s given by the vendor.

· Techno- Commercial discussion with client & client nominated consultants.

· Provide the technical support to the site Engineer & site in - charge.

· Co-ordination with other Engineer Dept. Like Electrical, Instrumentation & Civil for Finalization of P & ID and preparation of G.A. Drawings, foundation Drawings & SLD.

· Preparation of Electrical Consumption Details

3. Documentation and Reporting

· Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, project reports and related documents

· Generate regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

· Ensure that project documentation adheres to industry standards and quality assurance requirements.

4. Continuous Improvement

· Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

· Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of engineering standards and best practices within the organization.

5. Client Communication:

· Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and inquiries.

· Provide regular project updates to clients and internal stakeholders.

· Identify opportunities for additional services or project expansions.

Qualifications and Experience required:

· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related branch.

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience of Projects, Estimation or Proposal preferably in the pump industry or related field.

Knowledge Required:

· Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex engineering concepts and communicate them effectively.

· Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, etc.).

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Good Knowledge of MS suit

Other requirements:

· Should be sound in entrepreneurial thinking, and technical skills

· Should be willing to travel extensively in the region

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹32, ₹45,000.00 per month

Work Location: Remote
