BioActives
is looking for an experienced
Food Technologist
to lead the
development and innovation
of our sports nutrition and functional food portfolio. This includes
protein bars, RTD beverages, RTR powders, and advanced sports nutrition products
.

We're seeking a professional with 7+
years of proven experience
in food product development, particularly within
nutritional and functional foods
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative
    protein bars, RTD beverages, and RTR powders
    with optimized texture, taste, and nutrition.
  • Create specialized sports nutrition products tailored to athletic performance needs.
  • Conduct
    ingredient research, sensory evaluation, stability testing, and shelf-life studies
    .
  • Ensure compliance with nutritional, safety, and
    regulatory standards (FDA, cGMP, HACCP)
    .
  • Collaborate across
    R&D, Marketing, QA, Production, and Sales
    to deliver consumer-driven, scalable solutions.
  • Drive
    innovation
    through clean-label, dietary-specific (keto, vegan, gluten-free) formulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Food Science / Food Technology / Food Engineering
    (Master's preferred).
  • 6–7 years of
    hands-on experience
    in product development for protein-based and functional foods.
  • Strong technical knowledge in
    protein chemistry, ingredient interactions, emulsification, spray drying, and extrusion technologies
    .
  • Experience in
    stability testing, shelf-life determination, and sensory methodologies
    .
  • Familiarity with
    sports nutrition science, regulatory compliance, and clean-label formulation
    .
