About This RoleWe're looking for a Product Marketing Manager who can dive deep into our cutting-edge GEO platform and translate complex AI search concepts into compelling stories that resonate with marketers. You'll own messaging, create high-converting assets, and help establish our thought leadership in this emerging category.
This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who wants to grow with a fast-moving startup. You'll work directly with our founders, get deep product exposure, and have the opportunity to shape how an entire industry thinks about AI search optimization.
What You'll Be DoingProduct & Messaging
- Dive deep into our GEO and AI SEO products to understand features, use cases, and customer value
- Build messaging frameworks that clarify value propositions and differentiate us from competitors
- Conduct competitor research and develop positioning strategies that highlight our unique advantages
- Support product launches with clear communication and go-to-market strategies
Content Creation & Assets
- Create high-converting landing pages, sales decks, case studies, and marketing collateral
- Write engaging content—ads, blog posts, ebooks—that explains complex AI and SEO topics in simple terms
- Develop customer stories and case studies that showcase real results and ROI
- Create product videos, demos, and explainer content that brings our platform to life
Customer Research & Insights
- Talk to users regularly through interviews, surveys, and feedback sessions
- Develop detailed customer profiles and understand what drives purchase decisions
- Host webinars and participate in podcasts to engage with our community
- Translate customer insights into actionable recommendations for product and marketing teams
Growth & Optimization
- Run A/B tests on landing pages, email campaigns, and marketing materials
- Optimize conversion flows for both self-serve sign-ups and sales-qualified leads
- Support the sales team with enablement materials and competitive battle cards
- Track performance metrics and iterate based on data
Thought Leadership & Community
- Build your LinkedIn presence around GEO and AI search topics
- Create educational content that positions Writesonic as the category leader
- Engage with SEO and marketing communities to build brand awareness
- Represent Writesonic at virtual events and industry discussions
Experience & Background
- Have 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in product marketing, content marketing, or growth marketing
- Strong copywriting skills with examples of landing pages, ads, or content that drove results
- Some experience with A/B testing and data-driven marketing optimization
- Interest in or experience with SEO, content marketing, or digital marketing tools
Skills & Mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—you can make complex topics simple
- Basic video creation skills or willingness to learn (screen recordings, simple editing)
- Comfortable talking to customers and presenting findings to internal teams
- Data-curious mindset with ability to analyze performance and iterate
- Startup mentality—hands-on, scrappy, and comfortable with wearing multiple hats
Nice to Have
- Experience in the SEO, MarTech, or SaaS space
- Understanding of both product-led growth (PLG) and sales-led growth (SLG) models
- Active on LinkedIn or other professional social platforms
- Background working with marketing agencies or understanding how they operate
- Interest in AI tools and emerging technology
