ScienceUtsav is a parallel educational program designed for children aged 5 to 14 years, focusing on interactive and practical learning through hands-on activities, science experiments, fun projects, games, and more. We offer year-long programs at schools and institutes, summer camps, corporate events, and science-themed birthday parties. Our unique approach includes in-house toys, working models, and kinesthetic learning to support various experiments. With a customer base of over 350 schools, 260,000+ participants, 250+ annual events, and 50+ franchise centers, we aim to make science learning engaging and impactful.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Accountant located in Bengaluru. The Lead Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The individual will also coordinate with other departments, provide financial insights, and support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Financial Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation
  • Proficiency in Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Experience with Accounts Payable and Receivable, and Reconciliation
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Software Tally
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Experience in educational programs or related industries is preferred
