CNC Supervisor

About Us:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise CNC operators, machinists, and shop floor staff.
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize daily machining operations to meet production goals.
• Ensure optimal machine utilization and minimize downtime.
• Maintain equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize manufacturability.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and work orders.
• Implement and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Monitor and manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and consumables.
• Train and mentor shop personnel to enhance skills and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (10+ years) managing CNC and/or manual machine shop operations.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machines (mills, lathes, multi-axis, etc.), tooling, and G-code programming.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Understanding of materials, machining processes, and quality control methods.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
