Introduction

DOAD is looking for someone with a passion for sports to join our operations team, covering some of the biggest sporting broadcasts around the world. The successful candidate will receive training to develop the necessary skills in order to operate our bespoke software and data systems, resulting in them contributing to the television coverage they have grown up watching.

DOAD have established themselves globally, delivering live real-time live sports 3D broadcast graphics, augmented reality, virtual reality and data solutions to some of the world's top broadcasters, production houses and governing bodies.

The Role

  • Operate live broadcast graphics systems during sports productions (pre-match, live match, post-match).
  • Manage match-day graphics workflows including team line-ups, scores, match statistics, player profiles, and sponsor graphics.
  • Coordinate closely with producers, directors, data teams, and on-ground crew to ensure accurate and timely graphics output.
  • Prepare graphic templates, update content, and ensure all elements are QC-checked before going on air.
  • Monitor live data feeds and troubleshoot issues in real time.
  • Maintain high attention to detail to avoid on-air errors or delays.
  • Assist in graphic testing, rehearsals, and pre-broadcast checks.
  • Support integration of third-party data sources, tracking feeds, and automated graphics systems.
  • Ensure system readiness, including software updates, machine checks, and backup procedures.
  • Document operational processes and report technical or operational issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Media, Animation, Broadcast Technology, Computer Science or related field (preferred).
  • Experience operating live graphics systems (e.g.,
    Vizrt, Chyron, Ross XPression, Title-based systems, or in-house broadcast graphics tools
    )
    (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of broadcast workflows, live production environments, and OB setups.
  • Strong multitasking ability and the capacity to work under pressure during live events.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
  • High accuracy with numbers, sports data, and rapid updates.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick decisions in live scenarios.
