Job Description:

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing mechanical equipment and systems used in tunnel construction projects. The role involves managing machinery operations, preparing technical and performance reports, coordinating maintenance schedules, and ensuring optimal utilization of resources at the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and maintain mechanical equipment used in tunnel construction.
  • Prepare and review independent technical and operational reports.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews and machinery utilization analysis.
  • Implement cost control measures for operations and maintenance.
  • Manage and monitor spare parts inventory to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Coordinate with project and procurement teams for timely equipment and parts availability.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards on site.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
  • Experience: 57 years of relevant experience in tunnel construction, machinery management, or equipment maintenance.

  • Technical Proficiency:

  • Knowledge of heavy construction machinery and tunnel equipment.

  • Experience in report preparation, cost analysis, and inventory management.

  • Proficient in MS Office and technical reporting tools.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and coordination skills.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in field conditions.
